The dates in the table below pertain to the second round of recruitment to CT1 posts in 2012.

Please note that these dates are subject to change; please check this website regularly for any amendments.

Provisional timeline for 2012 CT1 recruitment (round 2)
Vacancies advertised	Tuesday 20 March 2012
Confirmation of deaneries/posts in round 2	Thursday 29 March 2012
Applications	Open - Tuesday 3 April 2012 (9am UK time) Close - Tuesday 17 April 2012 (1pm UK time)
Long-listing	Completed by Wednesday 2 May 2012 (By this date, all candidates will have received an email to confirm whether or not their application will proceed to the next stage)
Short-listing	Completed by Friday 4 May 2012 (All candidates will be notified by this date whether or not they have been short-listed for interview, and if so to which of their deanery/UoA preferences)
Interviews	From Wednesday 16 May 2012 until Friday 1 June 2012 (See interview dates page for individual deanery/UoA interview dates)
Offers	Deaneries/UoAs will begin making offers as soon as possible after they have completed interviews. All deaneries/UoAs will make their first round of offers by Wednesday 20 June 2012 at the latest. After the first round of offers, deaneries/UoAs will then re-offer to the next-ranked candidates as and when offers are declined. Please note - offers cannot be 'held' in round 2.
Clearing	Mid-late June (if necessary) - tbc

Provisional timeline for 2012 CT1 recruitment (round 1)
Vacancies advertised	Tuesday 15 November 2011
Applications	Open - Friday 25 November 2011 (9am UK time) Close - Tuesday 13 December 2011 (1pm UK time)
Long-listing	Completed by Tuesday 10 January 2012 (By this date, all candidates will have received an email to confirm whether or not their application will proceed to the next stage)
Short-listing	Completed by Friday 13 January 2012 (Any candidates who have not been short-listed for interview, or whose applications have been cascaded to one of their lower deanery/UoA preferences, will be notified of this by this date)
Interviews	From Tuesday 24 January 2012 until Friday 17 February 2012 (See interview dates page for individual deanery/UoA interview dates)
Offers	Deaneries/UoAs will begin making offers as soon as possible after they have completed interviews. All deaneries/UoAs will make their first round of offers by Friday 9 March 2012 at the latest. After the first round of offers, deaneries/UoAs will then re-offer to the next-ranked candidates as and when offers are declined.
Offer holding deadline	Monday 19 March 2012 (1pm UK time)
