2012 CT1 short-listing completed

The processes of long-listing (ie checking eligibility) and short-listing (ie assessing content) of applications to 2012 CT1 posts have now been completed (as of Friday 13 January 2012).

Next stage

All candidates will have been, or will shortly be, contacted by the RCP-SRO and/or one of their deanery/UoA preferences to notify them of their current status.

This will be to state whether a candidate's application has scored highly enough to be considered at their first-choice deanery/UoA preference; whether their application has been cascaded to one of their alternative preferences; or whether they have not scored highly enough to be considered for interview at this stage, and their application will be held in reserve.

Invitations to interview

With short-listing completed, deaneries/UoAs will begin sending out invitations to candidates shortly - most likely next week (w/c 16 January).

Upon receiving an invitation, candidates will need to log in to the application system, where they will be able to select from a choice of interview times (and dates, in some cases); and will then receive an email containing further information (eg preparation details, travel information, etc.) upon booking their choice of slot.

These will all be sent out by deaneries/UoAs, and not all will be sent out at the same time; some deaneries/UoAs, particularly the larger ones, will need to do more preparation and checking prior to sending emails, so please be patient! Also please bear in mind the interview dates of each deanery/UoA.

To gain details of the short-list score awarded to your application, please contact the deanery/UoA managing your application (ie the deanery/UoA at which you are to be interviewed, or if you are not scheduled to be interviewed, your first-choice preference deanery/UoA.)
